Download DraftSight Free for Windows 10, 7, 8/ (64 bit/32 bit).

While working in Draftsight and typing or using a specific function it locks up and crashes not allowing me to save what I have done in that session. How can I fix this problem? Faulting application name: DraftSight. Faulting module name: dataexchange. Faulting application start time: 0x01d37f1cfb13fd Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback.
I have Norton Security Suite. I have uninstalled Draftsight program a few times and reinstalled it. It did not fix the problem. I have Windows 10 Home Version I am only a novice computer person. I have a lot of software and apps loaded and am a bit nervous about loosing any of it. This is the computer I work with on a daily basis so let me see if I can get a computer geek friend who is more computer savvy to help with the downgrade and advise me on the consequences of that action.
I hate the thought of having to reinstall all of the software I have on my computer if that is what is required. I will get back with you. Thanks you so much for your help. It only crashes when I execute specific function commands and does so without saving. Can rollback to your previous version of Windows 10? There seems to be some early adopter issues at this time with Windows 10 , if you can, I recommend you downgrade to your previous version until the Fall Creators Update matures with future cumulative updates.

Draftsight windows 10. DraftSight (64-bit)
Okay so I am having a bit of a problem with draftsight and I am getting nowhere with the draftsight “professionals”. I have researched and researched over and over.
Let me provide the original issue before I tell you the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. User reported that everytime draftsight is opened it will ask him for activation.
Upon further review he was correct and I have activated many draftsight’s seeing as we have over users. I have never seen this before, simular but not this. Basically, it will ask for activation then I will enter in the information required. Once this has been done, Draftsight is supposed to give you a message saying an email has been sent to finish activation.
This message will never appear nor will I ever get the Email. This was about a month ago, so after troubleshooting and no resolution I gave the User the free 30 day trial period for Professional to buy myself some more research time. The time on the professional is up, and Draftsight has reverted to the original issue of not activating the free version.
Neither of which worked. Also while searching I should mention, that alot of people had issues with it being a problem with the proxy server on the network or through the ISP, this can’t possibly be the issue for me. As i do these installations daily and have over users and no one has had this issue before, Nor have I seen it.
The above steps usually always fix the issue for me. But just for kicks, I used a wifi dongle and connected to my T-mobile data and tried the process that way as well, still no luck, same issue. If anyone has any knowledge of this, or had a simular issue with this please let me know.
And If you think I am missing a step or something to resolve this I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you very much. DraftSight is not for some mysterious reasons reading Internet connection informations.
Flash Player update suffers from this sometimes. It freezes while reading registry entries for the Internet connection and will never make the connection. It could also be that DraftSight can’t write into some registry key due to insufficient permissions or the key is read only although you are logged on as administrator.
Disable both during the installation. I would certainly uninstall the KB Our IT department became super frustrated with this issue and just repaced his machine, and cleaned wiped the PC. This is no longer an issue. This has been resolved. Thank you for your help. I waited long enough for the Pro free trial version to run out.
Once the free pro version ran out I was able to default back to normal free version and activation went right through. I just thought there would have been an easier way around this problem with Draftsight. Everything is good now. Also, if your email at registration is in red type, don’t be concerned, just confirm and continue. It seems to be a problem with setting the UK as your origin, unsure if any other Country has this Issue.
I had the problem and none of the solutions would work. Everytime we launched Draftsight it asked to Activate. And upon filling the details and hitting “Activate” Draftsight blink’s and shuts itself down without sending the Activation Email and this goes in a loop even after uninstalling and Reinstalling multiple times.
The fix was to use “Revo Uninstaller” and uninstalling Draftsight and then getting Revo to subsequently delete Registry Keys related to Draftsight and also to delete the leftover program files. Once Uninstalled and rebooted, I was then able to Re-Install Draftsight and this time get the Activation Email without it crashing from Draftsight and was able to successfully Activate the product.
I completely deleted all registry entries and reinstalled DraftSight and it still kept failing to activate. I found using Regedit. Ran Draftsight again and received an activation email immediately. Working perfectly. This topic has been locked by an administrator and is no longer open for commenting. To continue this discussion, please ask a new question.
